Reports To: Service Director/Manager
Position Summary:
Inspect, maintain, and repair boats of all kinds within The Harbor Service Department.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintenance on Volvo engines and stern outdrives, Mercrusier engines and outdrives, Mercury outboard engines, etc.
- Safely operate equipment on grounds, including tractor, sky track, vehicles, etc.
- Maintain technician certification from Mercury and/or Volvo and stay up to date on new technology and information.
- Test and ensuring a stable performance of marine engines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records.
- Accurately assess boat functions and conduct operational tests.
- Perform other jobs and responsibilities as requested by Service Manager or Marina Partner.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education – This position requires a minimum of four (4) years High School, or GED and technical training certification.
Experience – This position requires previous work experience within the marine service industry and a certification from Mercury and/or Volvo.

Employee must be able work in outdoor weather conditions.
